Albanian Career & Business Summit UK 2026 to Connect the Albanian Community with Jobs, Bursaries and Training

An initiative conceived by Albanian journalist Merjeme Tota and co-developed with Beklie Koltraka aims to connect the Albanian community with opportunities in careers, education, professional development and business.

Employment opportunities, bursary applications, professional training and business development will be at the heart of the Albanian Career & Business Summit UK 2026, an initiative designed to build a bridge between the Albanian community in Britain and opportunities that can help people shape their professional futures.

The Summit will take place in London on 21 November 2026, organised by Narrativa Shqiptare Ltd, under the leadership of its Founder and Director, journalist Merjeme Tota. The project was conceived by Tota and co-developed with her collaborator Beklie Koltraka, while journalist and moderator Isida Muço will present the event.

Rather than focusing solely on discussions and professional networking, the Summit aims to give participants the opportunity to explore practical routes towards progress β€” from finding employment and preparing job applications to identifying bursaries, courses, training programmes and further education opportunities.

Employment and applications at the centre

One of the Summit’s main priorities will be connecting participants with employment opportunities. The event aims to create a space where attendees can engage with employers, institutions and organisations, while learning about vacancies and how to apply for them.

For many Albanians living in Britain, finding suitable employment can involve a range of challenges, including limited access to information, difficulties preparing a CV, unfamiliarity with the British job market and limited contact with employers. The Summit aims to address these needs by bringing information and opportunities together in one place.

Alongside employment, particular attention will be given to bursaries, courses, professional training, educational programmes and skills development. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about relevant programmes and, where opportunities are available, find out how to apply.

The availability of jobs, bursaries and programmes will depend on participating organisations and their respective eligibility criteria.

Business, entrepreneurship and professional networking

The Summit will not focus on employment alone. Another key pillar will be business and Albanian entrepreneurship in the United Kingdom.

Through meetings and networking, the event aims to create opportunities for exchanging ideas, meeting professionals and entrepreneurs, and developing contacts that could lead to future collaborations.

The vision is to provide Albanians not only with information about existing opportunities, but also with a space to build new relationships, showcase their activities and explore pathways towards professional and economic growth.

Bringing opportunities closer to people

In addition to careers and entrepreneurship, the Summit aims to promote awareness of relevant services and support resources for families experiencing difficulties.

For this purpose, Narrativa Shqiptare Ltd cooperates with Albanian Cultural Association Northamptonshire (ACA), an independent registered charity, on community referrals and signposting under a cooperation agreement. Any support remains subject to assessment, eligibility criteria and the decisions of the relevant organisation.

The Albanian Career & Business Summit UK 2026 will take place in London on 21 November 2026. Through this initiative, the organisers aim to create a meeting point for Albanians seeking to develop their skills, explore new opportunities and build professional and business connections across Britain.
